A hiking trail meanders from a free parking lot and restrooms to the southern tip of the island. Covered picnic tables are strategically placed at scenic overlooks. A boardwalk straddles native vegetation and dunes along the Gulf offering seating and access to the sandy shore. Canoes and kayaks can drop in along the parking area while the waters and grass flats of Lemon Bay and Gulf provide exceptional fishing. There’s limited parking and no lifeguards.
