Brohard Park’s 67 acres include several beach access points that are named and used for various needs and activities.
Venice Fishing Pier at South Harbor Drive
A 740 foot public fishing pier features restrooms, a snack bar and bait shop with a full service restaurant at the foot of the pier. Nearby, there’s a well known wetland area for great bird watching. The nearly 19 acres of beach has no lifeguards on duty.
Service Club Park at South Harbor Drive
The raised boardwalk with shaded pavilions traverse palmetto dunes to a quiet sandy shore featuring volleyball courts, picnic tables, grills, bike rack, playground, restrooms and parking. There are no lifeguards at this beach.
Chauncy Howard Park at the 800 block of Esplanade North
Wheelchair friendly, this park features boardwalks with ramps to a quiet beach. There are no lifeguards but, there’s plenty of free parking and restrooms.
South Brohard Beach at Harbor Drive
Plenty of free parking, picnic tables, showers and restrooms are provided at this 22 acre site. There are no lifeguards on duty.
